About the city 🌇

There are not many cities in Europe that can compete with Bruges in Belgium to be the most romantic city on the continent. The old town of Bruges looks like something from an adventure, and at night, when the buildings are lit up, pinch yourself in the arm to be sure it's reality as you wander along the canals.

By is a true student town, as out of almost 120,000 inhabitants there are 10,000 students due to the city's selection of universities. This means that social life is top notch, vibrant nightlife, bike lane infrastructure is top notch and there are social events galore. However, you do not always see the same people on the street, as Bruges as such is a tourist town, but when it gets late the city transforms into a quiet medieval town.

Brügge is the capital and largest city in the province of West Flanders in the Flemish region of Belgium, making the city sound like a big city, but actually it is so compact that your legs and possibly a bike can get you around the whole city.
