About the city πŸŒ‡

‍

Berlin is a fascinating city that provides the perfect setting for studying abroad. Like many places in the world, Berlin has a famous past. What Berlin is most often associated with, is the city's role in the two world wars, the Berlin Wall or the city's history of battles, occupation zones and revolution. Berlin, however, has a different history, which includes the German Expressionist movement, a devotion to architecture (Gothic, Art Nouveau and modernism) and the roaring twenties.

‍

Over the years, Berlin residents have helped the city's spirit of creativity, experimentation and celebration flourish and shape Berlin's collective personality. Singly special to Berlin is that the city is festive, historic and modern as well as traditional and innovative at the same time. Berlin is artistic and forward-looking, charming and provocative.

‍

Berlin seems to celebrate these many dimensions, and presents an incredibly dynamic and refreshing environment, to both locals and visitors. Berlin is called home by countless young people who flock to the city, who just exude freedom, creativity and something uniquely few metropolises can boast off.

‍
